Remember a couple of weeks ago when Greg Little's agent, Andy Ross, said that the rookie receiver would not participate in on-the-field drills at Camp Colt to prevent risking injury? Well, apparently the agent assumed a little too much about Little, because the second-round pick has told Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer otherwise:
"It's Andy's job to give me advice, but at the end of the day it's still my decision and I will probably choose to take part in everything,'' said Little, the Browns' second-round pick out of North Carolina. "I think my teammates will take notice of that. They don't want to injure themselves either, but they're out there doing the drills.''
Little says he has not received a playbook yet, but anticipates getting some material from quarterback Colt McCoy when he heads down to Texas next week. Little feels he will be a great fit for the West Coast Offense since he played a similar style in college.
In the rest of the article, Little seemed to say all of the right things, including expressing disappointment for missing the previous camp at Baldwin Wallace, praising the leadership skills of McCoy, and talking about the positive relationships he already has with receiver Mohamed Massaquoi and cornerback Joe Haden.
