Talent is what matters.

For all the lip service people pay to "building with good guys" and "cleaning the locker room" if they suck, they don’t belong in the NFL. I am sure we would love to win the Super Bowl with 53 great guys, but it doesn’t happen. Just ask Pittsburgh, they who poop canned Cedric Wilson after he slapped around a female. "How noble of them!" cried everyone. Two weeks later when the NFL defensive POY beat the crap out of his baby Mama, they didn’t cut him, and no one blamed them.

Sure, Mangini brought in a bunch of blue collar guys that love football. Those guys also cost him his job because they weren’t talented enough to win more than 5 games.

Guess what? Colt McCoy probably doesn’t care if Greg Little is an asshole, I am sure he played with some at Texas. Sure, it would be great if he wasn’t, but he goes out and puts up Andre Johnson numbers, Little can bitch slap old ladies during introductions for all I, and Colt, care. There is a reason that people are lining up for Plaxico, because he can help teams win games.

Bringing it back to Greg Little, I’m not saying we need to sign every single ex-con who walks the earth, but if you want me to get all pissy about a parking tickets, you are barking up the wrong tree.

Parking tickets people. If we make that the line in the sand of signing players we won’t be able to fill out a 53 man roster.
