EF YES!

Ask him if he was supposed to be in on run support on Benson’s TD run or if he was playing the deep middle 1/3.

Also, if he thinks Jauron will blitz as often as Rob Ryan did.

Shurmer or Mangini?

Marecic or Vickers?

Maybe this will stop the endless debates for a week or two?

Shurmer or Mangini?

I answer that by quoting the Cleveland Frown:

And all we can really do this morning is hand it to the Browns press. If they’ve been telling us anything at all since camp opened, it’s that Pat Shurmur is the exact opposite of Eric Mangini. Whatever else you can say about what the Browns would have looked like yesterday if they’d been kicking off year three of the Mangini regime, one thing the Browns never did under the former coach was lose as 6-plus favorites. In fact, the Browns only lost as favorites once under Mangini (when the Seneca Wallace-led Cleveland team amazingly weighed in as two-point chalk to the eventual AFC West champion Chiefs in Week 2 last season), which is water long under the bridge now, of course. So how many more points would the Browns have been favored by if we’d known in advance that Bruce Gradkowski would be taking the snaps for the Bengals in the second half?

The guy is a litte over-the-top at times in his Mangini homerness, but there is zero to argue with above.

Yeah but take this with a grain of salt – how often were we actually favorites in the Mangini era (or any others since 99). This is a pretty specious argument, though not surprising from Frowns. He’s a good writer and pretty entertaining but his one man crusade to vindicate the great Mangini is making him unreadable. That he actively seems to be rooting for the Browns to fail to prove his point makes him a complete asshole.

Is Roy Williams his source of inspiration?

by The Licensed Pessimist on Sep 12, 2011 4:18 PM EDT reply actions

Who/when does he feel like he has delivered the best hit on since joining the league? Shipley? Other?

How does he feel the team will work out many of the issues we seen against the Bengals?

What was going on when AJ Green scored? Was the play late coming in or late getting called?

The team has been losing for 12 years since returning to the league. What makes him think this group of guys and coaches can turn it around? Should the fans believe in this team?

I especially like that this isn’t a question. You’re just stating it.

Ask him about last year’s Shipley hit. How he felt about it and his reaction to the outburst from the national media.

This was a question I was going to ask him. Considering it is my background, I love the hit.

So do I. So, please don’t make him feel like we’re hanging him to dry on it.

And just like that, he has rescheduled. Don’t have an exact date, but send in your questions, I will get them answered or die trying. Promise.

What good advice has he received from old-time Browns?

What pets does he own?

How was training camp different this year? Not only was it his second (so it must not have been overwhelming), but it was a new coach AND new rules from CBA. What did be notice more?
