List of Former Browns Players Still Alive in the Postseason
Which former members of the Cleveland Browns are still in the hunt for the Lombardi Trophy? There are at least ten players by my count, all of whom are listed after the jump.
- QB Brady Quinn (Denver Broncos)
- QB Jake Delhomme (Houston Texans)
- QB Jeff Garcia (Houston Texans)
- QB Graham Harrell (Green Bay Packers)*
- FB Lawrence Vickers (Houston Texans)
- WR Lance Moore (New Orleans Saints)
- DT Shaun Rogers (New Orleans Saints)
- DT Gerard Warren (New England Patriots)
- LB Blake Costanzo (San Francisco 49ers)
- K Billy Cundiff (Baltimore Ravens)
Do you hope any of these individual players can capture a Super Bowl ring? I think if there is one player we'd be rooting for, it would be Vickers.

Blake Costanzo. Not because I like him in particular but because I like the 9ers. I also hope Vickers doesn’t get a ring because that would mean Garcia would get one. Screw Jeff Garcia.

I don’t hate Delhomme.

He quit on the Browns when he was here.

After he signed, he complained about the offense, he complained about the coaches, complained about the Cleveland area, etc.
Also heard he was a pain in the ass in the locker room, and didn’t get along with his team mates. There is a story that after Butch Davis quit, Robiskie called the team together and asked for a leader to stand. Everyone kind of expected Garcia to stand up, but he looked at the floor. Luke McCown stood up instead.
He was cut after one season in a four year deal. He can flip off for all I care.

The one thing I will always like about Garcia is when he nailed that ref in the nuts with the football. Classic NFL Follies moment.

I’ll tell you who I am not rooting for is Gerard Warren. When he was with the Browns, he was a major underachiever, and we can thank Butch Davis for that. To be honest, I was surprised to see that he is still in the league.
Just shows that when DTs can stay healthy, they stick around in the league for a long time even if they aren’t that good.

Warren’s issue was never his talent, hence teams keep him around.
He could be dominant for a series, then disappear for the rest of the game.

The only teams left that I hate are the Ratbirds and the Belicheats. For that reason, I hope any team beats either of them.
I do think it’d be awesome if the Tebows win it all though. Second to that, I think it’d be cool for Houston to win it, just as proof that it is in fact possible. Other than those 2 teams I hate and the 2 teams that’d be cool, no preference.

I hate Baltimore. I hate Denver. And I hate New England. Houston is the only team left in the AFC I don’t hate. With that said I would rather see a team from the NFC win the Super Bowl so we don’t have a situation with Houston winning it before us.

My team has 8 World Championships, I don’t have to worry about the Texans with 0. I’d love to see them win it this year.

You forgot Braylon Edwards. He is on the 49ers. . . . Oh wait.
