The DBN Three League Showdown
It's playoff time, the real ones, which means it's time for the ultimate fantasy football clash. It's time to see who's really the best of the best and which DBN fantasy league is truly superior! There's only one way to find that out, The DBN Three League Showdown. We pit each of the winners from the three leagues, whether Official, Unofficial, or Rebel, when the smoke clears only one man is left standing.
Here are the rules: Each winner selects their lineup, which includes 1 QB, WR, RB, TE, K, defense, and 1 flex (W/R/T), from the participating playoff teams in the Wildcard Round. Standard Yahoo! scoring will apply. Lineups must be set before kickoff of the first NFL playoff game, 4:30pm Saturday.
To the competing teams: simply review your choices, then post a comment with your selected lineup. As they come in, I will update this FanPost to reflect each team. If you wish to make a change, simply say so, as long as it's prior to kick off. As far as scoring goes, you can score your own team just to be sure, but I will update the scoring here as well. Good luck!

I’ll be rooting for the Rebel Alliance representative – Aussiebrown. Only because I can’t root for myself, of course…… ;-)
What does that MEAN - TO PLAY US OUT?!!?!?
I thought Vezoma won the Rebel Alliance championship?

He did.
I take this optimism shit seriously.

So it is Cruz vs. Roddy White for us. Hmm.

Looks like the whole The DBN Three League Showdown is going to come down to Cruz vs. White. I’m strangely ok with that.

Barring any stat corrections, you won by a single yard! Congrats! The Rebel Alliance asserts its dominance for at least this season.

I see Cruz got 28 and White got 52. What are you seeing?

Sorry, I was looking at “Lng” yards (longest reception). That’s my mistake.
Bernie does in fact win!

I would like to thank Tim Tebow first and foremost.
And Roddy White.

OT, but I figured your own post was as good a place as any to say thanks for the Game of Thrones tip. I’ve watched the first four and i’m liking it.
DBN, where I will never understand why they fired Mangini. We went 4-12.

He got me watching it too. Saw all the episodes in a 24hr period. I’m on the second go around now. It’s an amazing series.

I just finished the fourth and most recent season of Breaking Bad.
I have this to say about the entire series: fan-freaking-tastic!
I feel like we’re even now, I give you the tip on GoT, you give me the tip on BB.
Someone in the other thread said, “Rarely do TV shows stay as good as they started.” Well Breaking Bad is absolutely one of the few exceptions. I know they’re apples and oranges, but when I finished the first season of GoT I thought it was one of the best television shows ever. For everything GoT is to the fantasy genre, BB is to crime drama. Brilliantly written, directed, acted, and shot. Seriously, I can’t compliment the show enough. Over the course of the past week or so I’ve seen what took the past 4 years to craft. I have to say, it was an incredible experience. That’s when you know you’ve struck gold. When the series is no longer just something to be watched, it’s an experience.
Last thing I’ll say, awesome move by AMC and everyone else involved to conclude the series with a proper final season. Far too many good shows become shit because they grow a large following and become a cash cow, then everyone gets lazy.
