Wildcard Weekend: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Houston Texans
Our first wildcard game of the weekend is the one that seems most like a regular-season game to me as the Cincinnati Bengals take on the Houston Texans. Which one of these unproven quarterbacks will be able to pick up a postseason win? I think the Texans' running game will be too difficult for Cincinnati to stop all game long, and the Bengals have struggled to beat postseason-caliber teams.

Multitasking as well. Some shit went down at my house last night and I’ve been talking to people on the phone all morning trying to figure out what happened. It looks like bi-polar people are no longer welcome here. I don’t need guest walking on eggshells to appease others.

The NFL needs to implement a quality weight on wildcard team wins so teams like the Bungles don’t make the playoffs because they were fortunate enough to play us twice this season.
Pretty sure they do when it comes to ties. I think it’s Record>SoS>head to head. Not sure though.

OK announced already that Irsay said the Colts will select Luck with the first pick. We all knew that but unless he is trying to get more value with trades, I am suspecting they are going to and we will have to look elsewhere for our 1st pick. Well it was a nice dream.

Saying he’s better than a complete bust isn’t saying much.
As far as McCoy goes: I think he’s a hell of a lot better than you give him credit for. You tend to overly exaggerate his shortcomings(ex. He’s under 6’ tall, he has too many batted balls, he can’t see over linemen etc). I think at worst he’s an above average backup in this league He’s playing at the same level if not slightly better than a 9 year career backup/spot starter in his second year. I’m not sold on McCoy as a long term starter but yes I definitely like him.
None of this though has to do with the above discussion of I’d rather not sell out the future chasing a question mark. I’d rather sit tight and see what falls to us. I would be happy with Blackmon. Look at who McCoy had to throw to. His most talented receivers were someone who hadn’t played in a year, after converting from RB in Little and Ben Watson. Not many options on where to go to with the ball.

You are correct, I did misread it and I agree I would keep him as a back up, unless someone would offer a 5th round pick for him or better and if I selected a quarterback he would be gone WHICH i believe will happen
I wouldn’t let him go for less than a 4th.

Unless we can trade McCoy. I agree if we draft RG3 or Luck (I know we wont get Luck) I think we will keep McCoy if we dont get a good draft pick for him and then trade Wallace or cut him.
What did we get rid of for Wallace? Wasn’t it like a 5th-6th? We won’t get crap for him. Who do you choose to keep as a backup, the one who’s already hit his ceiling and is 10 years in or the 3rd year QB that could still improve? That’s why I say we end up cutting Wallace.
