Looks good to me for the Browns, but I can’t see 3 receivers going in the top 7

From what I’ve read, Holmgren wants to draft a QB to compete with Colt McCoy, but he doesn’t want to use the fourth overall pick for it. I’m guessing second or third round pick, with a guy like Kirk Cousins or Ryan Tannehill.
Funny how the knowledge of the game is inversely proportional to the price of the seats.
Where are you reading this?

Colt McCoy to Get More Weapons in 2012
I can’t find the other articles, but to me it sounds like they’re going to try and get receivers/running backs first. But Holmgren has also said he wants competition for Colt as well.

This is what needs to happen. There is only one quarterback in this draft worthy of a top 5 pick and that is Luck. I like what Cincy did with Dalton and we can do the same with someone in a pro-style system. If we lose out on Blackmon, take Jeffrey!!! This would be a huge upgrade.
team president Mike Holmgren would not confirm or deny the future of quarterback Colt McCoy.
Some rumor circles are saying
Unfortunately, there is no way to confirm or deny this information
a different rumor circle mentioned
Again, these are rumor circles so the source of this information will have to be chalked up as simply hypothetical and speculation only.
fans will have to be patient and find out once free agency and the draft passes this spring.
Obviously all a part of the misdirection Holmgren likes to create in the offseason.
…you see what I am getting at? Nothing, not even amidst all that speculation does it say that Holmgren wouldn’t use the 4th overall pick on a QB. In fact, Wolf implies that Holmgren would use a very high pick on Barkley.

Oh whoops my bad. I could’ve sworn I saw another article, but it’s probably just speculation too.

Honestly, even if they flat out said that they weren’t spending the pick on a QB I probably wouldn’t believe it. Its the front office’s job right now to not be believable and to play the best damn game of poker they can.

Need something more than Daniel Wolf putting out rumors.
This is the same guy who said that MoMass wouldn’t make the team this year.

I don’t see Mike Adams getting into the first round. i mean he’s big and all, just not that good.

I can see him being a good pro (being that OSU sucks at coaching OL), but I agree, not in the first round.

Yeah I could see him developing, but I don’t think he is going to start right away and play like you’d want a first rounder to play. I mean New England got Nate Solder—a much better physical prospect—in the first round and kind of let him learn, but I don’t see Adams being all that great anytime soon.

He has to be un-Bollmaned. Could take decades.
