Chargers vs. Browns - FB Owen Marecic Among Browns' Inactives
The Cleveland Browns have named the following players inactive today against the San Diego Chargers: RB Brandon Jackson, FB Owen Marecic, WR Mohamed Massaquoi, OL Jarrod Shaw, DT Ahtyba Rubin, CB Dimitri Patterson, and S Tashaun Gipson.
The bigger surprise by far is the fact that Marecic is inactive for the first time this season. He was healthy all week, so this sounds like it could be performance-related. It is worth noting that TE Alex Smith is active, and he is generally considered the team's backup fullback. We could see him in the backfield today.
