The Cleveland Browns got off to a fantastic start to their game against the New York Giants. Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw fumbled on the team's first offensive play of the game:

Two plays later, Browns RB Trent Richardson went unchallenged into the end zone on a 15-yard touchdown run, giving Cleveland a 7-0 lead early in the first quarter.

An hour before kickoff, there is a steady rainfall at MetLife Stadium, which could certainly have an impact on today's Cleveland Browns vs. New York Giants game. From the Browns' public relations guy:

Mary Kay Cabot says that it is pouring rain at the stadium. Temperatures are expected to be in the low-50s for game time. There could be other games in the league dealing with rain today too.
Cleveland has dealt with some rain in their past few games, including ten days ago when they took on the Ravens on Thursday Night Football. It hasn't seemed to effect them too much, but at the same time, it could make it a little more difficult for the wide receivers to catch the ball (as if they haven't had enough struggles already).

The Cleveland Browns have named the following players inactive for today's game against the New York Giants: QB Thaddeus Lewis, RB Brandon Jackson, WR Mohamed Massaquoi, WR Travis Benjamin, TE Alex Smith, OL Ryan Miller, and S Tashaun Gipson.
Even though Jackson has been inactive the past few games, with Massaquoi and Benjamin out, I thought he might be active. Instead, the Browns decided to keep LB Tank Carder active for his play on special teams.
S Eric Hagg is active for the first time in three weeks and should see some rotational time with S Usama Young. LB James-Michael Johnson is active for the first time this season after suffering rib and oblique injuries in the preseason.
