The Cleveland Browns got off to a tremendous start in the first quarter. After a fumble by the Giants, Trent Richardson had a 15-yard touchdown run. On the next series for the Browns, Brandon Weeden threw a 62-yard touchdown pass to Josh Gordon to go up 14-0. The Giants would not be denied, though, as they finished the quarter with a solid drive to make it 14-7 heading into the second quarter.
