Unfortunately, the Cleveland Browns' offense couldn't get going enough to start the third quarter. After a good punt, the Giants continued moving the ball down the field on a defense that lost LB D'Qwell Jackson and CB Dimitri Patterson to injuries during the game. WR Victor Cruz got the hat trick, catching his third touchdown of the game to put the Giants ahead 34-17, making it a 27-0 run by the Giants after a 17-7 start to the game by Cleveland.

After a good return by Joshua Cribbs, the Browns kicked a field goal to finally end the drought. It is 34-20 Giants heading into the final quarter of play.
