In SB Nation's Week 13 NFL Power Rankings, Joel Thorman ranked the Cleveland Browns at No. 28 overall, which is the highest he's had them all season. Hooray! Here's what Joel said about the Browns this week:
28. Cleveland Browns (LW: 29, 3-8): The Browns have won three of five. They haven't been blown out since the first week of October. Progress?
Progress indeed. Here is how the rest of the AFC North fared in the rankings:
Baltimore: No. 4 (push from No. 4)
Pittsburgh: No. 10 (down from No. 9)
Cincinnati: No. 13 (up from No. 17)
Cleveland: No. 28 (up from No. 29)
I guess Pittsburgh is a tough team to rank, since Ben Roethlisberger will be back in a week or so. The Bengals have been on fire, so their rise in the rankings is understandable. If Cleveland beats Oakland and Kansas City over the next couple of weeks, maybe they'll crack the top 2/3 of the rankings.
