Guys, this game against the Panthers today was one if the greatest in recent memory. Probably the best I went to personally.
Everything was against them, one of the worst tragedies in sports history had occurred a day before. But despite it all, they overcame everything and won in an amazing, emotional victory. This wasn't just a triumph of a team over another team, it was a triumph of the human spirit. Great win.
meanwhile the Browns had a convincing win over the Raiders. I've thought this entire season that the Browns aren't nearly as bad as they look. They could just as easily be 7-5 as they are 4-8. The defense has looked elite and they are on a hot streak.
When I think of the Browns, I think of their interior defensive line. Everyone knows about Taylor and Rubin as one of the best tandems in the league. However, not too many know of the incredible depth there. Billy Winn and John Hughes could start on a lot of teams in this league, they truly are something else up front.
I also think of Trent Richardson. And when I think of Trent Richardson I think of one word, STRONG. I mean, he's got incredible vision and makes sick cuts but every time I watch I Browns game I just go "Damn, that's a running back!" He's huge and small at the same time. People just don't want to tackle him, they bounce off. He has one of the strongest lower bodies ive ever seem from a runner. Truly a great talent, and a threat around the goalline and in the passing game as well.
The Browns have discovered a new run defense unlike the ones from earlier this season, which worries me. To begin our discussion, I ask. Is your run defense THAT GOOD?
