Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson has broken Jim Brown's team rookie rushing record with a third quarter carry against the Denver Broncos. Brown's record had stood at 942 since 1957. Richardson's 9-yard carry in the third quarter put him over that mark. Richardson currently has 948 yards rushing with the game still in progress.

Cleveland Browns starting CB Sheldon Brown has been ruled out for the rest of the game against the Denver Broncos with a concussion. He suffered the injury after an illegal pick play by Broncos WR Brandon Stokley.
The Browns' depth at cornerback will be tested in the second half. They cut nickelback Dimitri Patterson last week out of no where, and both of their starting safeties are out. CB Buster Skrine will take Brown's place in the lineup, and CB Trevin Wade will move up to nickelback. The other starting corner is Joe Haden.

The Cleveland Browns have named the following players inactive for today's game against the Denver Broncos: RB Brandon Jackson, WR Mohamed Massaquoi, TE Jordan Cameron, OL Jarrod Shaw, DT Ishmaa'ily Kitchen, LB Adrian Moten, and S Tashaun Gipson.
The somewhat surprising news is that the Browns have activated both of their fullbacks, Owen Marecic and Brad Smelley, after both were healthy scratches a week ago. Alex Smith, who had been playing fullback, will move back to tight end due to the injury to Cameron.
The new players who will suit up include CB Prince Miller and DE Hall Davis. Both players were added to the roster this week. DT Ishmaa'ily Kitchen is inactive, which is a surprise. He did suffer a calf injury late in the week, though, and was listed as questionable.
WR Josh Cooper is active in place of the injured Massaquoi. Usama Young and Eric Hagg get the start at safety.
