While the Chiefs got off to a bang in the first quarter, it was the Browns who got off to a bang in the second quarter. The Chiefs were set to punt, and the Browns quickly switched the positions of Joshua Cribbs and Travis Benjamin on the punt return. Cribbs became a rusher up the middle and took out several defenders.
Benjamin fielded the ball at his own 7-yard line, and with some nifty moves and a convoy of blockers, went 93 yards for the longest punt return in team history. After that, both teams traded punts to close out the first half. Cleveland gets the ball first in the third quarter, owning a 10-7 lead.
