2012 NFL Free Agency Open Thread For Browns Fans - Day 1 Evening Edition

We're reaching the later half of Day 1 of NFL Free Agency. A lot of big things have broke since free agency has begun, but there are still a lot of guys out there.

  • Possibly the biggest news wasn't even in free agency, as the Chicago Bears traded two third round picks to the Miami Dolphins for wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
  • The Washington Redskins signed wide receiver Pierre Garçon to a huge five year $42.5 million contract with $21.5 million guaranteed.
  • The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported that the Browns and the Dolphins are two teams that are in contract talks with Matt Flynn's agent.
  • The Chicago Sun-Times reported that the Browns are interested in defensive end Jeremy Mincey.
  • The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that the first visit for Peyton Hillis is with the Kansas City Chiefs.
  • The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed Vincent Jackson to a five-year, $55.55 million deal.

Feel free to treat this as an open thread for all the latest NFL Free Agency news.
