Mike Scarry, the last living member of the 1946 Browns, dies

Mike Scarry, the Browns' first center and the last living member of the original team, died on Sunday. He was a longtime coach who worked at Case Western and as an assistant for the Redskins and Dolphins before retiring in 1985. He left the Browns after the 1947 season to take a coaching job at Case, after which Frank Gatski took over at center. Gatski went on to a Hall of Fame career.

The Browns put together a nice story about him, but I didn't see it until just now. The piece is here.
