Both the Cleveland Browns and the Philadelphia Eagles are courting Oregon Ducks head coach Chip Kelly.
Oregon Ducks head coach Chip Kelly is the constant target of numerous NFL coaching rumors. Kelly has been linked to the vacancies in Cleveland and Philadelphia after the Browns and Eagles fired their coaches yesterday.
It seems the Eagles and Browns are the two teams most interested in trying to land Kelly. Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports that Browns president Joe Banner is in Arizona at this moment, where he will interview Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Ray Horton. However, the primary subject of interest will be Kelly, who is in Arizona for the Fiesta Bowl this Thursday.
If neither the Browns nor the Eagles can convince Kelly to take the job, they will reportedly move on to Penn State head coach Bill O'Brien. At that point, it's pretty likely Kelly could end up back in Oregon unless any NFL team is willing to grant him full control of football operations.
