Since missing out on what was widely speculated to be their top three candidates, Bill O'Brien, Doug Marrone, and Chip Kelly, the Cleveland Browns have to take their search for a head coach in a different direction. That search remains ongoing.
Jay Glazer, NFL insider for Fox Sports, reported via Twitter that the Browns are bringing in Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer for an interview later today.

Zimmer has been a defensive coordinator since 2000, working for the Dallas Cowboys until 2006, then spending a season with the Atlanta Falcons in 2007, before landing with the Bengals where he's worked to now.
After the interview, Zimmer will be among a total of four prospective coaches that are still available that the Browns have formally interviewed so far.
[UPDATE] - Mary Kay Cabot of The Plain Dealer reported that the Browns will also interview Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski today.
