After the Lions got a touchdown in the first quarter thanks to a pass interference penalty, the Cleveland Browns got a spark with a big end-around run to Travis Benjamin. A few plays later, Brandon Weeden found Chris Ogbonnaya in the end zone for a touchdown to tie the game at 7-7.
Weeden had the Browns on the move again toward the end of the second quarter, and capped off the drive with a touchdown pass to Greg Little to go up 14-7. The defense continued to play well and got the ball back for Cleveland again with under a minute to go. Weeden quickly drove Cleveland down the field again, setting up a 40-yard field goal from Billy Cundiff. The Browns lead 17-7 heading into the third quarter and will get the ball first.
