  • Patriots CB Aqib Talib was born in Cleveland, OH.

  • WR Josh Gordon is looking to become the only Browns player to record four straight 100-yard receiving games. He could join Charley Hennigan (Houston Oilers, 1961) as the only players in NFL-AFL history to record three 200-plus yard receiving games in a season.

  • WR Josh Gordon needs 41 receiving yards to pass Braylon Edwards (1,289 in 2007) for the franchise’s single-season record. He also needs Needs 124 receiving yards to pass Calvin Johnson (746 in 2013) for the most by an NFL player in a four-game span.

  • The Patriots have an NFL-best 46-6 record in the month of December since the 2001 season. The Patriots have won 16 of their last 17, including their last eight December games on the road.

  • The last time these two teams met in the regular season was on November 7, 2010 in Cleveland, with the Browns stunning the Patriots by a final score of 34-14. New England had a 6-1 record heading into the game, and after falling to 6-2, they finished the year at 14-2. Eric Mangini's team was led on the ground by RB Peyton Hillis, who had 29 carries for 184 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Browns also executed a "fumblerooski" type of play for a touchdown when Joshua Cribbs handed the ball off to WR Chansi Stuckey.
