The Cleveland Browns released their first depth chart of the regular season on Tuesday. I have outlined the information by position in the tables below. I did make two manual adjustments; the original depth chart was released before Billy Cundiff was signed, and before Jason Pinkston was placed on the returnable injured reserved list. I added Cundiff to the depth chart at kicker, and removed Pinkston (bumping up others in the process). Here are the things of note from the depth chart:
Davone Bess is listed as a starting receiver. He may play on the outside in two-receiver sets and move to the slot in three-receiver sets, with Travis Benjamin than playing the outside.
Shawn Lauvao is listed as the first string right guard, but he won't play this week. Oniel Cousins is getting the start in his place.
Buster Skrine won the starting cornerback job, but could end up seeing more time as the nickelback if Miami sends out three-receiver sets. In that case, Chris Owens is expected to play the outside.
Johnson Bademosi is listed as the top kick returner. By next week, I'd expect him to be listed third. This Sunday, Bobby Rainey or Dennis Johnson are expected to return kicks.
