Week 14 Preview, Browns vs Colts

It's the new Browns vs the old Browns on the shores of Lake Erie this afternoon.

Former Browns Trent Richardson, D'Qwell Jackson, and Josh Cribbs (as well as former head coach Rob Chudzinski) will all be on the Colts sideline as they take on the Browns today at FirstEnergy Stadium.

At 8-4, the Colts are looking to wrap up the very weak AFC South division. A win and Houston loss today would punch their ticket to the playoffs.

At just one game worse (7-5), the Browns are fighting for their playoff lives in the historic 2014 AFC North, where every team has at least 7 wins. Due to huge losses to Houston and Buffalo, the Browns figure to have their best shot at the postseason go through winning the division. That almost certainly involves running the table, something they did in 2009 with far fewer stakes.

For Brian Hoyer, this should be his final audition to return as the Browns starting QB next year. Benched in last week's loss to the Bills, Hoyer has earned the respect from the locker room and coaching staff enough to grant him one more shot to lead the team towards the playoffs.

The season is on the line again, Browns fans. Bark hard and GO DAWGS!
