Ideal Browns offseason IMO

Draft:

1.4 Teddy Bridgewater-QB- Ok so I've watched a lot of film and Bridgewater is definitely my favorite QB. After watching 30 minutes of Manziel running around throwing up jump balls to Mike Evans, I nearly puked. Then Bortles is so inaccurate sometimes he reminds me of Jay Cutler who's been teasing everyone with his potential for around 5 years. Bridgewater comfortable in the pocket and delivers the ball quickly. Plus, he goes through all his reads before running.

1.26 Xavier Sua'Filo-G- Everyone knows the Browns need an upgrade on the O-line. I was considering Cyril Richardson here heavily until Donald pushed him around at the Senior Bowl. It came down to Sua'Filo and David Yankey then, and I think Sua'Filo is the better fit. He's more athletic and should play in a zone blocking scheme better than Yankey.

2.3 Allen Robinson-WR- With so many good receivers in this class, we can get a #1 receiver in the second round easily. Robinson would complement Gordon well with his size and hands. Many want Hyde here but I don't put a lot of value in running backs in the first 3 rounds.

3.7 Christian Jones-ILB- The browns need at least one inside linebacker this off season so they should take one in the draft as well as free agency. Jones will work great in Pettine's hybrid defense because he is a hybrid player himself. I like his potential as a coverage linebacker with his great size, length and quickness.

3.19 Stanley Jean-Baptiste-CB- The Browns need a big, physical corner and Baptiste fills that role great. At 6-3, he can handle big receivers but he's also physical enough to defend the run. His physical style of play would complement Haden's more finesse play style.

4.6 Morgan Moses-OT- Bringing in Moses would give Schwartz some competition on the outside. This is more of a depth pick and I believe that Schwartz can continue the level of play he had at the end of the season.

4.27 Jeremy Hill-RB- Hill is only down here because of off the field issues. He has the talent to be a first round pick so this is great value here in the fourth. Hill can pound the ball between the tackles and run way from defenders with ease. Watch his tape and you'll see why he makes sense for the Browns.

5.5 De'Anthony Thomas-RB/WR- Thomas can play both positions which makes him valuable. Also, he can return kickoffs which this team desperately needs.

6.4 L'Damian Washington-WR- I'm a huge fan of Washington. At 6'4 220, he can still run a 4.4 40. His long stride makes him look deceptively slow when he actually just burns past defenders with ease. Very raw at this point but he'll serve as solid depth

7.3 Vinnie Sunseri-S- Adding depth at safety is a must considering everyone behind our starters has little to no experience at the position.

Free Agency:

Jon Asomoah-G-Geoff Schwartz replaced Asomoah because he's better. Asomoah is still way better then Shawn Lauvao and a solid starter at guard. Adding him and Sua'Filo would eliminate our need at center by moving Greco inside.

T.J. Ward-S(Franchise Tag)- Ward is a great player when he's healthy. However, giving him a one year prove it deal would help to alleviate injury concerns and give the FO more time to work out a long term deal.

Golden Tate-WR- Tate has great hands and would add some veteran leadership to our receiving core. Little and Bess are as good as gone in my opinion and Tate is one of the most productive receivers in the NFL.

Vontae Davis-CB- Davis is another physical corner who would immediately improve the secondary.

Donald Butler-ILB- Butler could immediately take over Robertson's spot and improve the defense. Plus he's only 26.

Jairus Byrd-S-Byrd can be described easily. Ball-hawk. Gibson wasn't great this past season and missed a ton of tackles. Byrd and Davis would put our secondary close the Legion of Boom.

Jason Worilds-OLB-The depth at OLB was exposed terribly this season. Once Sheard and Groves went down, the defense fell apart. Worilds would add quality depth.

This is what I would like to happen. I realize we're spending quite a bit in free agency but I think we should this year. Let me know what you think and if you disagree with any of these players or think I should add others.
