With so much cap room, who are some guys you'd like to see the Browns pursue outside of Cleveland?
I really think that Joique Bell from Detroit could be a legit number one running back. He's a bruiser hybrid, able to do damage over the air and nearly outplayed Reggie Bush last season behind a pretty average offensive line. Toby Gerhart is another name I like to throw around but he's not as active in the passing game.
Who knows the status of Dustin Keller after his season ending injury last year, but aside from Jordan Cameron, we don't have a tight end. We could sign him on a prove-it deal like the Seahawks are notorious for. When Keller played for the Jets, he was their single gleaming hope under Mark Sanchez.
Kansas City has two free agent guards I think are worth at least calling seeing as they plowed the way for Jamaal Charles last season. We could use some interior help on the offensive line even if we resigned Alex Mack.
There are a lot of really talented cornerbacks in free agency this year. We could pick up someone to help Joe Haden - he'd appreciate it.
Retaining TJ Ward should be a priority equal to keeping Alex Mack but neither should empty our wallets. Our secondary regardless needs help in the very back end. Jarius Byrd is an obvious playmaker but would break the bank. Chris Clemons from Miami is a viable alternative to TJ Ward.
