The Tennessee Titans have hired Cannon Matthews as their new quality control coordinator on defense:
Cannon Matthews joins the #Titans after spending last season with the Cleveland Browns as a defensive coaching intern.

Matthews served as a defensive coaching intern with the Browns last year on Ray Horton's staff. It makes sense that he receives a promotion in Tennessee, since that is where Horton made a lateral move to as defensive coordinator. What's interesting is that Horton's defensive quality control coach last season in Cleveland was Daron Roberts. We haven't heard anything about Roberts leaving Cleveland yet, so perhaps he will end up being one of the assistant defensive coaches who will be retained.
