He was in Detriot to witness and maybe had a hand in Calvin Johnsons rise to stardom. The Realible veteran who wants to give back and help the youngsters in the league, respectfull, accountable, hard worker, and iv'e never heard of him having character issues or concerns. He is not even settled in Cleveland yet, but has already vowed to be a mentor for Josh Gordon. Hot Damn, looks like we found what we were looking for last year. The leader our crew needs to guide them. If healthy for the year he could possibly reach 1,000 yards.
Perhaps their's one receiver who's been forgotten this season, Greg Little. Despite what my monkier might lead you to think, we cant afford to give up on him. Just when he starts doing good, you complement him and he's right back to what got him in trouble. Burleson provides Little with a challenge to obtain the #2 spot, while simultaneously being able to pick his brain. Davone Bess was supposed to be the solution but as fate would have it he became the problem. Burleson really does appear to be the fix, i just hope he realizes and is willing to give Little the guidance he needs just as much, if not more than Josh Gordon.
Im a firm believer that there's no need to get rid of Little untill there's 3 receiver's better than him on the roster. Now heading into the final year of his contract that time may be upon us. Greg Little has recieved a last ray of hope in this signing. ...In Burleson We Trust...
(I just cant figure out how to give up on him)
