What about utilizing Greg Little as a tight end or a running back? While there was some intrigue to the thought, a couple of days after the Cleveland Browns released Little, head coach Mike Pettine confirmed that they just didn't see a fit for Little in Cleveland:
"While Greg Little might be talented enough to play in the NFL, we didn’t feel it was a situation that was best for the Cleveland Browns," said Pettine.
Little apparently is still talented enough to play in the NFL, as evidenced by the fact that Little was claimed off waivers by the Oakland Raiders. If Little is fortunate enough to make the Raiders' regular season roster, he will square off against the Browns in October:
"@Str8UpGlittle: October 26, 2014 is definitely circled beleedat!" We'll see lol @joehaden23

It seems a little odd to see both Little and Josh Gordon on Twitter now, doesn't it? I am upset that Little didn't work out, but I don't hold too much resentment toward him. If Oakland is willing to commit to utilizing his strengths, there is still a place for Little in this league.
