I usually do actual mock drafts since fanspeak is unrealistic in my mind, but I really didn't have the time today so I used the site instead.
Jadeveon Clowney-No way he falls here, but he's the BPA if we're at 1. No question who we should take if he's on the board.
Teddy Bridgewater-Bridgewater is the most pro ready QB in the class. He has bust potential, but not as much as Bortles or Manziel in my opinion. Should compete with Hoyer in year one.
Kyle Fuller-I wanted to take him at 26, but didn't feel Bridgewater would fall to 35. Matt Miller has Fuller as his most pro ready corner in the draft. He steps in and locks down the #2 spot right away.
Allen Robinson-Robinson was a first round talent until a poor forty time pushed him down. However, his pro day's 40 was an improvement. He'd be a great complement to Gordon.
Bishop Sankey-The need isn't high, but Sankey is a great back. He was the top player on my board, so I had to take him. Should take around 30% of the snaps immedieately.
Christian Jones-A diluted sample has him falling, but he has great potential as a cover linebacker. Plus, he can play OLB if we need more depth there.
Logan Thomas-We need a developmental quarterback and Thomas is perfect for that role. If he can learn to read defenses like Teddy, I could see him going to the pro bowl.
Terrence Mitchell-Remember when Joe Haden went down this year? We were torched in the second half of that game. This pick is for depth purposes.
De'Anthony Thomas-We still need a kick returner in my mind and Thomas can do that extremely well. Plus, he can play in the slot or come out of the backfield on third downs.
Jay Prosch-Obviously, Shanahan wants a fullback. So if the number one full back in the draft is there in the seventh, I'd love to take him.
