Here is a wrap-up of the injury situation for the Cleveland Browns heading into this week's game against the New Orleans Saints:
- The Browns will be without RB Ben Tate this week, which means RB Terrance West will get the start and RB Isaiah Crowell will see carries as well. All three backs averaged over 6.0 yards per carry last week.
- TE Jordan Cameron and OLB Barkevious Mingo did not practice this week, but both players will be game-time decisions, according to head coach Mike Pettine:
"It’s just the type of injury," said Pettine, regarding how a player could still play without practicing. "When you’ve built up a bank of reps and you feel a guy might be able to contribute for you… that’s why we listed them that way. There’s still a chance based on how their rehab is going. They’re getting better every day. It’ll be right up until game time."
- DE Desmond Bryant and DE John Hughes practiced this week as limited participants. There is a chance that one or both players could make their regular season debuts on Sunday. The Saints aren't facing any significant injuries.
