Concussions and Cameron's value

As we start to look at what moves should be made in the off season in Free Agency, the biggest decision on offense that the Browns might face is what to do with Jordan Cameron.

He is obviously a difference maker - when he is on the field. But that has been an issue for him because of concussions.

That history is very concerning to me because (even more so than most players) he could be one hit from the end of his career. That makes me hesitant to be willing to give him a ton of guaranteed money over a number of years. Then again, he is a proven difference maker and the Browns have plenty of cap room with which to sign him.

Another suggestion that was made on here recently was to franchise him for 2015 at a cost of ~$8M.On one hand, that seems like a reason able way to lock him up while mitigating risk. On the other hand, you could add at least 2 solid players with $8M, maybe it is better to spread the risk.

What do you guys think?
