We haven't reported on a lot of news from around the division lately, but this one seemed like it could be pretty significant: Pittsburgh Steelers rookie offensive guard David DeCastro suffered a knee injury during Saturday night's preseason game.

For the past few seasons, Football Night in America on NBC, which has preceded the network's Sunday Night Football telecasts, has been my favorite football pregame show. Unfortunately, instead of leaving Hines Ward and his obnoxious grin off of television after his retirement, NBC Sports hired the former Pittsburgh Steelers receiver.
In tonight's edition of Around the AFC North, we take a look at linebacker James Farrior possibly returning to the Steelers to retire, another Bengals player with legal issues, and former Ravens running back Jamal Lewis filing for bankruptcy.

We thought that Ward might restructure his contract to stay with the team, something he has said he'd be open to doing. According to Jason LaCanfora of NFL.com, Ward probably won't be brought back in any capacity next year.
In today's edition of Around the AFC North, we take a look at another member of the Bengals getting into trouble, the Steelers releasing a veteran cornerback, and why the Ravens need help at the receiver position.
In today's edition of Around the AFC North, we take a look at who the Steelers' next offensive coordinator could be, who the Ravens' new quarterbacks coach is, and whether Bengals fans want Chad Ochocinco to get a Super Bowl ring, even though he hasn't had to do much all season.
In today's edition of Around the AFC North, we ignore the Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers to focus only on the Baltimore Ravens losing their defensive coordinator again.

Up until July 9, the AFC North didn't have a single arrest during the lockout, so it surprisingly seemed as if the division would make it with a clean record.
Houshmandzadeh and Stallworth aren't coming back once the lockout ends, and the Ravens were wise to go for youth in the draft with Torrey Smith. Could they be in the market for acquiring the Panthers' Steve Smith though?
At least Palmer isn't being arrested every other day, which seems to be a common occurrence for Bengals players. Pacman Jones was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest last week. One of their safeties was arrested on Thursday. This morning, it was running back Cedric Benson.
