Joshua Cribbs Surprises Canton Township Kids at Baseball Game

Cleveland Browns return specialist Joshua Cribbs continues to build his positive image off-the-field. In a story by the Canton Repository this morning, Cribbs surprised kids and the community when he suddenly took part in a peewee baseball game in Canton Township.

The Sunday Five: OTA's Have Been Missed

"The Sunday Five" is a loosely-titled piece where I talk about five NFL- or Browns-related topics related to this past week. In today's edition, since there really is not a lot to talk about, I'll take a look back at what had happened last year before Memorial Day, and whether anyone on the Browns has a defensive playbook.

Former Browns TE Kellen Winslow Makes a Slight Dig at Cleveland

The article then goes on to talk about how Buccaneer fans were upset when Winslow skipped voluntary OTA's in 2009 to rehab his knee in San Diego. But then, unless I'm misinterpreting it, Winslow makes a dig at the former city he played in:

Walker Thinks Browns Will be Aggressive in Free Agency

I'm finding it more and more difficult to get a read on what the Browns will do in free agency, or in better terms, their overall acquisition of veteran players. The front office said they won't make nearly the same splash as they did last year.

Drew Rosenhaus Representing OL Jason Pinkston

According to Business Insider, Cleveland Browns fifth-round draft pick Jason Pinkston will be represented by Drew Rosenhaus. Rosenhaus is known for his aggressive tactics in negotiations and for taking on big-time personalities such as Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens.

Third Offensive Minicamp Taking Place June 9-11

The Cleveland Browns, under the leadership of quarterback Colt McCoy, will hold their third offensive minicamp from June 9-11, according to the Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot.

Cleveland Browns Free Agent Review: DE Jayme Mitchell

Why Keeping Him Could Make Sense: For one, if Heckert believes he was the team's best pass rusher next season, then I would love to see if he can turn out to be a starting defensive end in the 4-3 defense.

Braylon Edwards Delivers on Scholarship Promise to Cleveland Students

Former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Braylon Edwards did not leave the city with the best reputation, and he didn't do a lot to help his cause when he persisted to trash the city when he first became a member of the New York Jets. He seemed to find "closure" so to speak after last year's game against the team though and pretty much toned his antics down.

Former Browns Kicker Matt Stover to Retire

Former members of the Cleveland Browns are making a habit of announcing their retirements during the lockout. The latest player to do so is kicker Matt Stover, who will hold a press conference Thursday with the Baltimore Ravens to announce the end of his 19-year career in the NFL.

Browns vs. Jets Rated 15th Best Game of 2010

While sifting through NFL.com, I noticed that Elliot Harrison, who supposedly watched all 267 games during the 2010 NFL season, was ranking the top 20 games of the season. The Cleveland Browns had their game against the New York Jets ranked No. 15 on the season.
