Hines Ward Voted Dirtiest Player in NFL
We all knew this to be true, really. The hit on Daven Holly just confirmed what we all knew to be true to begin with. Remember this next time Steelers fans come over here and defend Hines Ward as being anything other than a cheapshotting punk. His peers, the NFL players, have spoken.

Reporter actually blames Lerner, not Mangini
He gives valid points as to why our turmoil turned out like it did. It's fairly consistent with what DBN says and while he does burn Mangini a bit, it's backed with factual evidence that makes sense.
Enjoy.

Q & A with Lerner
Tony Grossi recently interviewed Randy Lerner via email and posted the transcript at the PD website. Lerner stood firmly behind Mangini as the head coach but wouldn't comment any further on Kokinis' firing. He did elaborate about a few other topics, such as his decision to hire Mangini and Kokinis and his thoughts on why he made a change after last season. He wouldn't comment on any personnel issues, including the benching of Brady Quinn (although he did say that it had nothing to do with money).
At least he stepped forward to answer some questions but I would really like to see him get up in front of a micrphone and discuss what's happening. Because the interview was done through email there weren't any follow-up questions by Grossi which leaves many questions still unanswered.

A lesson learned in Cleveland | National Football Post
Was Kokonis really the right person for the job? We all know he wasn't, but this somes it up.
Anderson to start?
So Quinn thinks Anderson will start. I don't like this.

Mangini will have input on new GM?
Um...What? From this quote it sounds like Mangini is talking himself into this:
"Yeah, Randy and I talk a lot, so I’m sure we’ll be very engaged in that (decision),'' said Mangini.
I hope that Lerner doesn't make this mistake more than once.
