To own such a storied franchise as the Cleveland Browns, with its rich tradition and history, is a dream come true. We are committed to keeping the team in Cleveland and seeing it get back to the elite of the NFL -- something all Browns fans want and deserve.

I'm now hearing the sale of the #Browns should happen in the next 30 days. Browns people anticipating former Eagle President Joe Banner arrival. [Should be] interesting to see how the entire Cleveland Browns situation plays out. Some with the team don't think Joe Banner will be part of [the] new group.

Browns owner Randy Lerner said he currently is in negotiations to sell his team to Mr. Jimmy Haslam. He wants to keep all details private.

Just heard on 92.3 The Fan that Eric Steibach has signed a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins. Can't find anything on line to verify yet, but I highly doubt 92.3 would announce it if it wasn't credible.

Just an interesting tidbit I discovered today: Joe Thomas has made history. He joins Jim Brown as the only two Browns players to be named to the Pro Bowl in each of their first five seasons.
