Super Bowl XLVI - Official Game Thread (2nd Half)
The Giants got off to a great start, forcing Tom Brady into a safety via penalty on the Patriots' first offensive drive. They followed that up with a crisp touchdown-scoring drive as Eli Manning connected with Victor Cruz. The Patriots proceeded to march down the field, but the Giants' defense came up with a stop and forced a field goal to make it 9-3 Giants. The Giants seemed to be in control of the half, but the Patriots got the ball back for a two-minute drill and marched all the way down the field -- 14 plays, 96 yards, for the go-ahead touchdown. It is 10-9 Patriots heading into halftime.

Super Bowl XLVI - Official Game Thread (1st Half)
The New York Giants came away victorious when these two teams met four years ago in the Super Bowl, thanks to a miraculous catch by David Tyree. Not many of the Patriots players remain from that team, but for those that do, as well as head coach Bill Belichick, you know it still stings. New England will be looking for revenge as Tom Brady tries to capture his fourth Super Bowl ring. Will the Giants be able to prevent him from holding up the Lombardi trophy once again?

2012 Pro Bowl Thread (For Browns Fans)
Who wants to talk about the Pro Bowl? No one, because if you try to pay attention to the game, you'll be asleep by the end of the first quarter, especially since there aren't any members of the Cleveland Browns that you'll get to see in action (not counting Joe Thomas, whose role is minimized in a Pro Bowl). Therefore, feel free to use this as an open thread for anything else that you wish!
NFC Championship: New York Giants vs. San Francisco 49ers
The Giants and the 49ers have each had great postseason efforts from Eli Manning and Alex Smith, respectively. Both defenses have fierce groups up front with some clutch plays by their secondary. The NFC Championship will be contested under rainy conditions though; how will that affect the pass rushers on both teams? This game can go either way, and both teams deserve to be in the position to advance to the Super Bowl. My pick is the Giants because of the greater level of experience they have.

AFC Championship: Baltimore Ravens vs. New England Patriots
If you don't think Tom Brady is on a mission to make a point against a Ravens team that made him look mortal two years ago in the playoffs, then you don't know Brady. In the past, the Patriots might have lacked some physical receivers. That isn't the case this year when you have tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez doing a lot of the dirty work. Baltimore's defense is still fierce, but their offense has really struggled on the road, almost being as bad as Cleveland's offense was the majority of the year. This would be a different contest if the Ravens were at home; on the road, I like the Patriots to win by a couple of possessions.

Divisonal Playoffs: New York Giants vs. Green Bay Packers
The final game of this round between the Giants and the Packers is another very intriguing NFC match-up. The Giants somehow know how to turn on a switch when the postseason comes around. Their defensive line can get pressure like no other, but Aaron Rodgers is so good that he can fire it to any of his receivers on a rope and have them break the big one. The difference between the 49ers containing Brees early on and the Giants [probably] not being able to is the level of play from their secondaries. The Packers will win this one at home.

Divisional Playoffs: Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens
Today's first game features the Texans and the Ravens. I am not a big Baltimore fan, and even with their undefeated home record, I feel that Joe Flacco is going to fail to deliver when they need him most. The Texans' running game is the best among the playoff teams, and I think they are going to ride the momentum they had from a week ago to pull off an upset on the road.

Divisional Playoffs: Denver Broncos vs. New England Patriots
Can Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos do it again? After stunning the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, the Broncos could fall back to reality this week. They had a lot of things in their favor against Pittsburgh (several defensive players out, poor gameplan, being in Denver despite having a worse record, etc), but they won't have those things in their favor against New England. Tom Brady will have no problems beating Denver's defense through the air, and the Patriots are going to force the Broncos to run the ball until they make a mistake. Patriots win by a couple of possessions, just like the last time these two teams met.
