Browns Sign LeCharles Bentley

610 WIP Sports Radio in Philadelphia reports free agent C LeCharles Bentley (Saints) is on his way to Cleveland to visit the Cleveland Browns. It was earlier reported that Bentley had already agreed to a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles and there was a rumor that he was going to visit the Eagles on Saturday, March 11.

Now, Len Pasquarelli is reporting that Bentley has agreed to a contract with the Browns:

When this is officially confirmed, we will have a scouting report of Bentley's career on Dawgs By Nature. This has to make you wonder about the status of Jeff Faine, who actually didn't do too bad last season. He could fill the role of being a general backup, but I doubt we would get a whole lot in return for him if we traded him.
