TIME TO GET YOUR STORY STRAIGHT....

Since most other Cleveland sports fans have moved on to Lebron James and that kid on the Indians that looks like he's twelve....Brady or Grady-something....crap, I don't know. Anyway, the Browns are often overlooked this time of year by the fair-weathers and replaced by the red-and-blue down the street at Jacobs Field. The free-agency signings have caused quite the stir in this off-season, more than usual, but the rest of the team is still working in the background.

So for those who haven't been paying much attention:  In addition to the Grossi article in the PD yesterday discussed below, USA Today also did your homework for you and reported a pretty decent summary article on where the team is at now as a whole. It also offers an interesting perspective on the Dilfer/Frye rumour mill:

"The Browns could have gotten involved in trade talks with the Vikings for Daunte Culpepper and they had the money to go after Drew Brees in free agency. Instead general manager Phil Savage and Coach Romeo Crennel showed they are firmly behind second-year quarterback Charlie Frye."

Hmmmm.....never thought about it that way....
