Everyone warned Ben Roethlisberger after it happened to Kellen Winslow Jr. You don't want to diss the guy at this time really, but there's no excuse for not wearing a helmet:
Roethlisberger broke his nose and jaw in a motorcycle accident and immediately underwent surgery when he arrived at the hospital.
As of Monday afternoon, Roethlisberger was in serious but stable condition according to Dr. Larry Jones, the chief of trauma at Mercy Hospital. Roethlisberger's agent, Leigh Steinberg, said it is not known if other injuries were sustained in the accident.

Regardless of him not wearing a helmet though, this isn't a time to think anything positive like "YES! THE BROWNS CAN BENEFIT!", in my opinion. After a few days though, I'd say bash the hell out of him for pulling a Winslow.
