Travis Wilson Agrees to Deal, Sanders Cut Loose

The Cleveland Browns signed wide receiver Travis Wilson this morning to a four-year deal. Wilson was our final draft pick to sign, and was the only pick to miss some any training camp time (three days). During his college career, Wilson caught 105 passes for 1,315 yards and 17 touchdowns. He suffered an injury last year, and some speculate that he was underrated heading into draft for that very reason. In order to make room for Wilson, the Browns released receiver Steve Sanders, a local Clevelander who attended East High School and Bowling Green State University. Wilson should be in training camp today.
