Channel 19 - Officially TERMINATED

Justice is served. On Tuesday afternoon, a Cuyahoga County judge rejected Channel 19's attempt to re-gain the rights to airing the Cleveland Browns preseason games, as well as exclusive rights to other various features. Now, the Browns have permission to find a station that will air the preseason games, pre-game shows, post-game hows, and other specials during the regular season.

According to Tony Grossi of the Plain Dealer, the Browns will quickly try to find a local network affiliate to carry the Browns' four preseason games. Channels 3, 5, or 8 will be carrying the game, as Channels 19 and 43 are left in the dark. The Browns must reach a deal by August 10th, when the Philadelphia Eagles will take on the Browns. A deal should be finalized in the next few days. At the moment, Sam Rosen and Bernie Kosar are slotted to be the announcers for the preseason games. Yes, that means we will not be able to hear Bob Golic say "I'm lovin' it!" this season. That in itself is worth the network change.
