Bentley Out For Season, Hallen Retires, Ephraim Suspended

I throw my hat into the ring to be the new starting center for the Cleveland Browns.  I'm 5'6" (and a half!), 185 lbs. and female.  Yeah, my team needs me.....

You heard it here first from DawgsByNature reader kjc:

The Browns Center Alonzo Ephraim has been suspended for the first 4 games of the season. There has not been an official release yet, but if you go to http://www.cleveland.com/browns/photos/ and look at the lastest gallery pictures. On picture 8 of 8 the captain says he will be suspended.

Here's what we know, from The News-Herald:

Center Alonzo Ephraim will be suspended today by the NFL for the first four games of the regular season for substance-abuse violations. The league does not reveal details of the violations, but for a player to be suspended, it has to be his second offense.
Ephraim can stay with the Browns through the preseason, but once the season starts, he cannot practice or attend meetings. Ephraim played with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2003 and 2004, and the Miami Dolphins last year.

hmmm....Ricky Williams' bong have anything to do with this?

Incredible.

I think I'll need a moment....
