Browns Add New Receivers Coach

According to the Pioneer Press, the Cleveland Browns hired University of Minnesota wide receivers coach George McDonald on Tuesday. McDonald will fill the same position be the Browns' offensive quality control coach.

At Minnesota, McDonald tutored wideouts Eric Decker and Ernie Wheelwright who set records for for receptions at the Big Ten school. Decker eclipsed the schools previous mark by 17 catches last season, winding up with 84 receptions for the Golden Gophers.

Note: Originally it was thought that he would be the Browns' receivers coach; I have edited this post to his officially named position.
