This just in from the University of Texas Longhorn Pro Day. Earl Thomas just ran a 40 in the 4.3s.
In addition, based on performance he was the best defensive back in College football last year. If Berry goes as expected, I think that this may be enough to push Earl by Joe Haden, and the Browns may consider him at #7. After watching Earl for the last few years, his strengths are speed, physicality, fearlessness, flexibility as I think he could play corner or safety (never played corner at UT however), and a real playmaker with double digit interceptions last year. On the down side, I don't think he cracks the 5' 10 barrier - so he is a vertically challenged. Great kid too.
