Go [insert team name here]! : Who We Need To Win Week 16

It's me. The guy you love to point the finger at (Yes, that finger) when I say, "It's probably better that we lost".

But guess what, when April rolls around, you will be thanking me. Memories of the Steelers and Ravens beating the crap out of us will have faded from memory, and we will be rewarded with a bright and shiny new draft pick.

Think of it like when your Parents gave you Broccoli instead of Pop Rocks. Sure it sucked then, but diabetes is a mother. You're welcome.

So, let's take a look at the schedule this for this weekend and decide who we should be "cheering" for! (Other than the Browns to lose by 3)

Thursday:

Houston Texans @ Indianapolis Colts 7 PM NFL Network (Texans -7.5)

Go Colts!

Well, if you think I am rooting against the Browns, what do you think the smart Colt fans will be doing this weekend? If this game is close, look for Bill Polian to run on the field and sack Dan Orlovsky.

So, why do we want the Colts? Because the Colts will take Andrew Luck, no doubt. But if the Colts win another game, or even better two more, then another team, we will get to them later, may be more open to a draft day trade. So for those out there hoping and praying for Andrew Luck, get your Donald Brown on.

Saturday:

Minnesota Vikings @ Washington Redskins 1PM (Redskins -3)

Go Redskins!

The Vikings are the only team with a chance to catch the Colts if the Colts get one more win. It's not a certainty, but a possibility. The Vikings could be open to a reverse Herschel Walker-type deal. So if you are Luck or Bust, it is Go Redskins for you.

Even if you don't like Luck, you still go Redskins. It will be almost impossible to catch the Vikings in strength of schedule, so we might as well keep a team that is probably going to be going away from QB, ahead of us.

Plus, the Redskins are going to be looking for a QB in this draft. Going to much easier for them to leap frog us for RG3 or Barkley if they are only one spot behind us.

Doesn't really hurt us if the Vikings win, but let's not play with fire okay?

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Tennessee Titans 1PM (Titans -7.5)

Go Jags!

Well the Titans lost to the Colts last week, so anything is possible. Chris Johnson is questionable, but at this point, I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

Jacksonville has a pretty nice schedule shaping up for us. The Titans obviously can lose to anyone, and next week the Jags take on the 1 win Colts. That game may feature two teams that aren't that interested in getting a "W".

Best thing going for the Browns is MJD. The guy is a HUGE fantasy player, has his own show on XM's Fantasy Channel. As we all know, this week is most league's "Championship", I don't think MJD will play harder, but the guy doesn't exactly need extra motivation to crank it up. Hopefully he has another 4 TD game in him.

Jacksonville is one spot ahead of us, and would continue to stay ahead of us if they stick at 4 wins. Our SOS is about to get much tougher (which is a bad thing when you are trying to move UP in the draft, tie-breaker-wise) and Jacksonville's is going to get much easier.

A win this week is a possible, next week is a must if we want to get into the top 4.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Carolina Panthers 1PM (Panthers -5)

Go Bucs!

Buccaneers are only one slot behind us and they are fading fast. This team straight up sucks. Chances of them losing Saturday are slim, and next week they have the Falcons.

The silver lining is that the Bucs played a "tough schedule" thanks to their nice finish last season. Every time the Saints or Falcons win, it helps push their SOS in the right direction. At least that gives us some good feeling when the Falcons win.

Hopefully this is a game where Cam Newton plays like complete crap. But the Bucs will be missing Talib and Josh Freeman has been horrible all season long. This one could be a long shot. Hope we get lucky.

Other teams we should be rooting against:

Dolphins, Cardinals, Rams, 49ers, Seahawks, Raiders and Dolphins.

The reason for this is simple. The more these teams lose, the lower our SOS gets. The lower our SOS gets, the better our chances at a winning a tie breaker.

Trust me, I understand that you don't like the idea of the Browns losing. But at some point in time, you have to take a step back in order to jump the fence.

We need a QB. RG3 won't be there at 5.
