TCU quarterback Andy Dalton had an outstanding Pro Day on Friday, elevating his stock to the point where he will likely be drafted in the second round, according to NFL.com's Gil Brandt. Brandt said Dalton "lit it up" as he completed 49-of-52 of his passes with two of those incompletions being dropped passes.
One team that seems to be particularly interested in Dalton is the Cincinnati Bengals. Offensive coordinator Jay Gruden attended the workout and the team also plans to meet with Dalton. One of the other teams expected to meet with and hold a workout with Dalton is the Cleveland Browns. That makes two quarterbacks -- Cameron Newton and Dalton -- who the Browns have reportedly scheduled visits with.
