Talk about a headline coming out of left field. Running back Tiki Barber has filed the necessary paperwork to un-retire and will be a free agent once free agency begins, opening the door for any of the 32 teams in the league to sign the former Giant.
Barber retired after the 2006 season and has been out of football since then, mostly doing commentary work. He seems to have lost his other gigs recently and had a messy divorce that reportedly left him broke. Perhaps he feels another crack at the NFL will get him back on his feet financially?
Will any team take a chance on the 35-year-old running back? I'm guessing he has tried to stay in decent shape since 2006, but that doesn't mean he is in football shape. I see no way that the Cleveland Browns get involved with Barber, but what do you think about Barber's sudden comeback attempt?
