Peyton Hillis Advances in Madden Cover Tournament

If you haven't heard, there is a tournament over at ESPN to determine which player will be on the cover of Madden '12: Lockout Edition, where you get to control animated characters of the owners and/or players at the bargaining table. /sarc

Anyway, the Cleveland Browns were represented in the tournament by running back Peyton Hillis. He defeated the Ravens' Ray Rice in the first round 62% to 38%. He then moved on to the second round to take on Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan. The outcome of the second round was unveiled Monday, and Hillis came away with the "upset," holding 51% of the votes to Ryan's 49%. Now he moves on to the third round to take on the Chiefs' Jamaal Charles. For your reference, Charles has already defeated Tim Tebow (duh) and Maurice Jones-Drew. His victory over Jones-Drew was just as slim as Hillis' victory over Ryan, so I expect it to be a tight matchcup.

The other six players remaining include QB Michael Vick vs. LB Patrick Willis, QB Aaron Rodgers vs. RB Danny Woodhead, and QB Drew Brees vs. RB Adrian Peterson. I think it will come down to Rodgers vs. Vick, but who knows.
