Doerschuk Takes a Look at the Browns' Offense

Steve Doerschuk of the Canton Repository decided to take a brief look at how the Cleveland Browns' offense could look in 2011 following the draft. He had a grim note on the quarterback position based on history:

It would be great for the Browns if 2010 third-round pick McCoy becomes a playoff-style starter, but ... Draw your own conclusions from the list of the quarterbacks taken in the 20 third rounds from 1990-2009:

Kevin O’Connell, Trent Edwards, Charlie Whitehurst, Brodie Croyle, Charlie Frye, Andrew Walter, David Greene, Matt Schaub, Dave Ragone, Chris Simms, Josh McCown, Giovanni Carmazzi, Chris Redman, Brock Huard, Jonathan Quinn, Brian Griese, Bobby Hoying, Stoney Case, Eric Zeier, Billy Joe Hobart, Tommy Hodson, Peter Tom Willis, Neil O’Donnell.

That can't be an all-inclusive list, can it?

Doerschuk seems to have high praise for tight end Jordan Cameron, and mentions how Jason Pinkston could contend for a starting role at right guard.
