Despite the fact that CB Dimitri Patterson practiced all week (in limited fashion), he has been ruled out for this week's game against the Oakland Raiders. It looks like his return will have to wait another week. The Browns will also be without S Usama Young, who is dealing with a concussion. He had been replaced by S Tashaun Gipson in the starting lineup last week anyway; without Young and Ray Ventrone, though, the Browns are down to just three safeties on the depth chart again.
Speaking of safety, Eric Hagg has been listed as questionable after coming down with an illness on Friday. Head coach Pat Shurmur said Hagg would still be ready to go for Sunday, though.
Kick and punt returner Joshua Cribbs did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday with a shoulder injury, but he returned Friday in a limited fashion. Some fans wondered if Travis Benjamin would take on those duties against the Raiders, but on Friday, Shurmur said that Cribbs did everything he needed to and will also be ready to go. Quarterback Brandon Weeden is also good-to-go after sustaining a concussion at the end of last week's game.
The Raiders will be without DT Richard Seymour again, and starting middle linebacker Rolando McClain has been suspended for conduct detrimental to the team. The Raiders could get running back Darren McFadden back. McFadden has missed the past several games with an ankle injury.
